Account Executive
Sage Technology Group is looking for sales professionals who can deliver and sell virtualized solutions on both servers and desktops. This specialist should have the ability to articulate the business value and technical benefits to senior level business and technology decision makers. This is a high impact, very visible role, instrumental in driving the adoption of virtualized products and solutions in accounts, as well as, influencing product enhancements and the new products/solutions Sage brings to market.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with technology decision makers (CIO, CTO, Solution Architects, VPs and Directors of IT) within focused accounts; build relationships, evangelize Virtualization solutions, and provide domain expertise to assist in closing business • Participate in pre-sales efforts including: technical sales presentations, architecture design discussions, competitive displacement, proof-of-concept engagements, RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops • Analyze customer's business and technology objectives by asking probing questions relevant to the customer in order to collect information that enables the Sage team to be more effective and responsive to customer’s needs • Develop and propose custom solutions that differentiate virtualized software and services, and meet customer’s requirements and objectives • Ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs) • Document client feature requests and issues, providing feedback to the customer • Present Sage’s technical and business value proposition at industry events • Develop in-depth knowledge of Sage’s product lines and solutions approach • Assume the role of an advisory team leader by organizing a team of subject matter experts, collaborating on issues and solutions, as well as, collecting information on industry trends, customer requirements and competitive analysis
